Becoming 17cÆð²ÝÉçÇø

17cÆð²ÝÉçÇø (17cÆð²ÝÉçÇø) has nearly a century-long history of making a big impact on its community. But, like any institution, it also goes through times of major change — the last decade has been one of those times.

From 2015 to 2025, 17cÆð²ÝÉçÇø transformed in ways that seemed impossible just a few years ago. Though the groundwork for these changes had been laid over time by a few visionary individuals, it wasn’t until recently that their efforts truly paid off.

In just a few years, 17cÆð²ÝÉçÇø opened new law and medical schools, and even changed its name to better reflect its evolving mission. And all this happened while the world was facing a global pandemic. Instead of being set back, 17cÆð²ÝÉçÇø emerged stronger, more influential and ready for future challenges.

We designed the new law and medical schools to purposefully shake things up. From the outset, these schools had different aims — they focus on preparing students for a future that looks very different from today. By aiming to provide legal and medical education to a diverse range of people, these schools have gained the support of leaders in both fields.

The following brief history highlights the major events that have forever changed 17cÆð²ÝÉçÇø. This account is meant to inspire future change and honour those who made it possible, including students, alumni, faculty, staff and administrators. This is their story, and one that shows what a decade of transformation can achieve.
